Article 1 – Purpose of this policy
This policy explains how the website www.ts-bxl.be uses cookies and other similar technologies.
In particular, it sets out:
- what a cookie is;
- which types of cookies may be used;
- the purposes pursued;
- the third parties that may be involved;
- how long cookies are kept;
- how visitors can give, refuse or withdraw their consent;
- the rights visitors have regarding their personal data.
This policy supplements TS-BXL’s privacy policy.
Article 2 – Identity of the website operator
The website www.ts-bxl.be is operated under the TS-BXL Service Vouchers brand by: Titres-Services Bruxelles-Est srl, registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (CBE) under number 0808.687.020, with its registered office at Avenue des Lucioles 1, 1170 Watermael-Boitsfort, hereinafter “TS-BXL”.
For any question about cookies, personal data or exercising your rights, you can contact TS-BXL:
- by e-mail: hello@ts-bxl.be;
- by post: Avenue des Lucioles 1, 1170 Watermael-Boitsfort;
- by telephone: 02 675 41 03.
Where certain pages, forms or services fall under another company using the TS-BXL brand, the identity of that company and its role in the processing of data are stated in the information applicable to the service concerned.
Article 3 – What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file containing information that may be stored on a computer, smartphone, tablet or other device when a website is visited.
Cookies make it possible, in particular, to:
- ensure the technical operation of the website;
- keep it secure;
- remember certain choices made by the visitor;
- measure, with the visitor’s consent, traffic to and use of the website;
- display, with the visitor’s consent, content from external services.
In this policy, the term “cookie” also refers, where applicable, to similar technologies used to store or access information on the visitor’s device, such as pixels, tags, local identifiers and browser storage mechanisms.
Article 4 – First-party and third-party cookies
First-party cookies are set directly by the website www.ts-bxl.be.
Third-party cookies are set or read by an external provider when the website uses one of its services, for example:
- an audience measurement tool;
- an embedded video;
- an interactive map;
- an external form;
- an appointment booking tool;
- a security service;
- a chat or communication module;
- a link to or content from an external platform.
Third-party cookies remain subject to the choices made by the visitor in TS-BXL’s cookie management module where consent is required.
Article 5 – Categories of cookies
5.1. Strictly necessary cookies
Strictly necessary cookies enable the technical operation and security of the website and the use of its essential features.
They may be used, in particular, to:
- deliver pages;
- protect the website against abuse and attacks;
- manage a technical session;
- remember the visitor’s cookie preferences;
- allow the secure submission of a form expressly requested;
- distribute the load correctly between servers;
- maintain the settings essential to the operation of the website.
These cookies are not used for advertising or profiling purposes.
Where they are strictly necessary for the operation of the website or for providing a service expressly requested by the visitor, they may be used without prior consent.
Visitors can delete them using their browser settings. Blocking them may, however, prevent certain parts of the website from working properly.
5.2. Preference or functionality cookies
These cookies remember certain non-essential choices made by the visitor, for example:
- the display language;
- the region;
- layout preferences;
- certain accessibility settings;
- resuming a feature used previously.
Where they are not strictly necessary for a service expressly requested, these cookies are only set once the visitor’s consent has been obtained.
5.3. Audience measurement cookies
These cookies help TS-BXL understand how visitors use the website, in particular:
- the pages viewed;
- the approximate length of visits;
- navigation paths;
- the types of devices and browsers used;
- any technical errors;
- the general origin of visits.
This information may be used to improve the content, performance and experience offered to visitors.
Audience measurement cookies are only set with the visitor’s prior consent, even when they are set directly by TS-BXL.
5.4. Cookies linked to external content
Some pages may include content or features from external services, for example:
- an interactive map;
- a video;
- a calendar or appointment booking module;
- a form hosted by a provider;
- a communication tool;
- content from a social network.
These services may set cookies, collect technical data or receive certain information about visits to the website.
The content concerned remains blocked until the visitor has given the required consent.
Refusing these cookies does not prevent general access to the website, but may make the external content concerned unavailable. An alternative may be offered, for example a link to open the external service directly.
5.5. Advertising cookies
TS-BXL only uses advertising, retargeting or profiling cookies if these technologies are actually enabled on the website and after obtaining the visitor’s prior consent.
These cookies may be used to:
- measure the effectiveness of a campaign;
- limit how often an advertisement is repeated;
- produce conversion statistics;
- present tailored communications on third-party platforms.
If no such tools are present on the website, TS-BXL sets no advertising cookies.

You can view and change your choices at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
Article 7 – Visitor consent
On their first visit, the visitor can:
- accept all cookies;
- refuse all cookies that are not strictly necessary;
- customise their choices by purpose.
No cookie that is not strictly necessary is set or read before the visitor has given their consent.
Continuing to browse, scrolling a page, using the website or closing the banner does not constitute consent.
The “Accept all” and “Refuse all” options must be presented simultaneously, clearly and equivalently, without using colours, sizes or wording likely to unduly influence the visitor’s choice.
Non-essential categories are not pre-selected.
Refusing non-essential cookies does not prevent the visitor from accessing the essential information and services of the website.
Article 8 – Withdrawing or changing consent
The visitor can change their preferences or withdraw their consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer.
Withdrawing consent must be as easy as giving it.
Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it, but prevents any further use of the cookies concerned.
Where technically possible, previously accepted cookies are deleted or deactivated at the time of withdrawal.
The visitor can also delete cookies using their browser settings.
Article 9 – Retention period
Each cookie is kept only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it is used.
Session cookies are normally deleted or expire when the browser is closed.
Persistent cookies expire on the date stated in the list of cookies or when they are no longer needed.
The cookie recording the visitor’s consent preferences is kept for a maximum of six months, unless a different period is objectively justified.
When this period expires, or when the cookie policy undergoes a substantial change, the visitor may be asked to renew their choices.
Article 10 – Browser settings
Most browsers allow you to:
- view stored cookies;
- delete all or some cookies;
- block cookies;
- allow only certain websites to use cookies;
- delete cookies automatically when the browser is closed.
Blocking cookies across the board may affect how certain features work.
Browser settings do not replace the website’s consent module for cookies requiring prior consent.
Article 11 – Personal data and transfers
Some cookies and other trackers may involve the processing of personal data, in particular:
- the IP address;
- technical identifiers;
- information about the browser and device;
- the date and time of the visit;
- the pages viewed;
- the choices made in the consent module.
Where the processing relies on cookies that are not strictly necessary, its legal basis is the visitor’s consent.
Where providers established outside the European Economic Area are involved, TS-BXL ensures that any data transfers are based on a mechanism recognised by the GDPR and accompanied by the necessary safeguards.
Further information can be found in TS-BXL’s privacy policy and, where applicable, in the policies of the providers concerned.
Article 12 – Visitor rights
Where cookies or trackers involve the processing of personal data, the visitor may, under the conditions laid down by the GDPR, exercise:
- their right of access;
- their right to rectification;
- their right to erasure;
- their right to restriction of processing;
- their right to object;
- their right to data portability;
- their right to withdraw consent at any time.
Any request may be sent to hello@ts-bxl.be.
TS-BXL may request the information reasonably necessary to verify the identity of the person making the request.
The visitor may also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
Article 13 – Links to external services
The website may contain links to other websites, apps or platforms.
When a visitor clicks on an external link, they leave the environment controlled by TS-BXL. The website or service concerned may then use its own cookies and process data according to its own rules.
TS-BXL invites visitors to read the cookie policy and privacy policy of the external service before using it.
Article 14 – Updates to this policy
TS-BXL may amend this policy, in particular because of:
- technical changes to the website;
- the addition or removal of a service;
- a change in the cookies used;
- a change in law or regulations;
- a recommendation from a competent authority.
The applicable version is identified by its date and version number.
Previous versions are kept so that TS-BXL can demonstrate how its practices have evolved.
Where a change substantially affects the purposes or the cookies subject to consent, the visitor’s choices are requested again before the cookies concerned are used.
